Welcome to ARTEMISIA Lab!

Founded by Dr. Ulya Bayram at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering as part of her Young Career Award (TÜBİTAK 3501).

In our lab, we conduct cutting-edge research on various Data Science challenges including Computational Social Science and Biomedical Informatics. Beyond applying Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Complex Systems to solve data science problems, we also develop and advance novel methods and frameworks in these areas, pushing the boundaries of these technologies.

We are driven by two core motivations.
-First, to develop AI-driven solutions that address critical global challenges such as violence, mental health, climate change, and healthcare.
-Second, to actively support and promote the participation of women in Data Science and Computing, fostering diversity and inclusion in these fields.
